"It is ideally positioned to get to beaches and castles etc... Lynsey and Adam were top notch hosts. Very helpful with two kids! We loved the gardens, the view and sunsets were wonderful and we enjoyed a glass of wine, or two relaxed on the outdoor furniture as the sun went down. The bird activity was a real treat for the kids, as was watching the cows and horses graze in the adjacent field. We will be back!".   Richard Jones, London

Living

The lounge area has a distinct cottage feel with the exposed beams, stone work and the large Welsh dresser. It is a spacious and light room.  There is a leather sofa and two leather armchairs positioned around a large coffee table that provides a perfect environment to relax. The dining area is to the side of the lounge, by the French doors which open out onto the patio. The dining table sits two but can be folded out to comfortably accommodate four guests.

Sleeping

The stable has a large, light and airy master bedroom with a cottage feel. With a double bed and plenty of space it feels luxurious. French doors open out onto the patio and allow you to start the day enjoying the view with a coffee, or alternatively finish off the day with a nice glass of wine and a sunset. The ensuite bathroom is off the bedroom. With the addition of fold up beds (a double or even 2 singles) it can easily be converted into a family room and has enough space for one or two children.  In the lounge there is a double sofa bed so plenty of options for sleeping.

Kitchen and Bathroom

The kitchen is open plan and situated at the back of the cottage. It’s equipped with everything you’ll need for a week of self-catering. From the kitchen there is a set of French doors that open straight out onto the patio, which with its views is the best place to enjoy dinner or breakfast, or both! The bathroom is spacious and offers a power jet surround shower which is perfect for soothing muscles after a long day hiking adventures

Outside and views

The sandstone patio area is large and offers great views of the rolling fields, woodland and the sea. It is surrounded by greenery and therefore feels sufficiently hidden away from the rest of the garden. Facing Northwest it’s a great spot to appreciate the sunset. There is also easy access to the larger barbecue and eating area, the utility room and the hot tub.

"Excellent hosts who went above and beyond. In the Stable we loads of space yet it was still homely and cosy. We had everything we needed and really found Ad and Lyns to be friendly and welcoming. Local knowledge and tips were fabulous. They also spoilt us with prosecco as it was our anniversary. Intend to return. A perfect escape.".   Louise Small, Reading
